Time update!!!!!!!

Hey there all,
Well it's the last day of Sept, and today is a very big day. I'm starting full production of the animation, blocking, to be exact. The last few weeks have been very productive, I'm set with the story. I'm down to 25 shots from my original 3000 or so at the beginning. I'm happy with what I have but I think I'm in big trouble as it goes with the time left for production. I have starting today 8 weeks to get a minute and 15 seconds worth of animation done!!! Then comes editing which as it looks now, I will only have a few days to do. Right now I'm really considering dropping the thesis class, before review. I saw what happen to the animators at last review, Getting their ass handed to them. If I do that this sesmster will go down as blocking and poseing for all the shots, and the Winter semster will be the polishing up and finished product. I truly belive that there should be two pre-vise class's and the final class as the polishing class. Oh well live and learn. As for the last week I have a really, nice working bull rig, Digital Tutors did a great job on the Quad set up, I still need to do more rigging, heck I could have spent another month on that bull to get him working perfectly, GOD DARN paint weights. Today I'm working on the opening some and the slap, I need to get used to some of the controls on both characters, better to do it in the middle, then the very beginning , all the big studios seem to do it that way to give a great impression at the start of OH WOW. Thats about it for now, I need to do these darn journal entries more, just not enough time for everything. I think thats about every bodies thought right now. Two enties in one day, this will be short and sweet. last week was stiry board refine, last story boards that I'm doing!! This week-end I have to get hammering on the full animatic with sound and all the bells and whistles. Right now I have some crapping play blast that number around twenty or so. These blast show the camera angles and some crude animation for timing. I need at this point, if I don't drop is to do more blocking in my animatic to easily convert to the animation an to the polished animation final. And oh yea I applied for animation mentor for the 2008 Winter semster yea haaa!!. Later today or tommoro I'll be posting the finals looks for the backgrounds and the final looks for El Toro and Rowdy. See ya all later..

Hey there folks time to get caught up on these journal entries, it's been a few weeks since I put up some stuff, busy trying to get this thesis done with out losing any more hair. Thesis class started a couple of weeks ago, an It's flying by quickly already. The first classes are great, Patricia is really keeping us on our toes. What I feel, as for myself is that I'm behind, right now as i'm typing I should be animating. Where I'm at is not where I want to be in terms of the theis exucution. I want, or I should be at blocking right now doing my polioshing the next 8 weeks to get done. I need to sit down this week end and do some hard thinking about what I should do, I might drop the class until the spring. Or I might finish this class drop it before review and use it as a pre-vis 2 and go into the winter course as a poilsh up the animation. I'm at a cross roads, and I'm frustarated, to say the least...
